Tough one...but I'll say Coke (I drink neither).

I've never heard of a Rum & Pepsi. In some areas of the deep south, they call all soft drinks "COKE" (like some areas say "POP" or "SODA")

They advertise the experience of the drink (a refill, a freindship, a memory) rather than just a sexy super-model making young boys drool.

Mike:
Good points, especially about the ubiquitous nature of "Coke" in the south. I spent the first 10 years of my life in Tennessee, and I clearly remember asking for a "coke" and being asked "What kind?" to which I was supposed to answer, 7Up, Dr Pepper, Coca-Cola, etc.
